Game Store Thohoyandou
Game Store Thohoyandou ****med me out of R9000.00 with a faulty Acer i5 Laptop! I bought the laptop last year January 11th 2023. In the beginning of March 2023 it was dead not responding in any way with all my work stored in it. I went back to game in March same week and when I got there they checked the laptop and told me to go to front desks to book it for repairs (they didn’t explain to me that I was allowed to get a new laptop or a refund and that is according to Acer consultant I spoke to about my issue) game played a smart one on me and booked my laptop for repairs. It came back May and I only used it for another month and it went dead again took it back July and came back after close to two months. In October it was running smooth but I had another laptop so I didn’t really use it. In late January it gave me problems again and I went back to game only for them to tell me about “Warranties” and that I had to pay and I was like why should I pay because I didn’t do anything to it in fact you sold me a faulty Laptop. The so called manager “Timothy Mulaudzi” said there is not much they can do and it is now my responsibility and not a game matter. He further said that they would give me a refund or change a laptop if it died 7days after purchase and not the month, I tried explaining that the Laptop spent four months in repairs so I didn’t even use it for a year . I am highly disappointed in Game, how they sold me a faulty laptop and just gets away with it. A big company taking advantage of me because I am just a nobody. I would not recommend anyone to buy an Acer Laptop at game or any laptop because as soon as you walk out of their store you are on your own, factory fault or not… Game does nothing for you!
