Game Store - Mthatha Plaza

Good afternoon

My Mom bought a Sumsang microwave on the 1st of May 2021 for R 1 899.00 at Game stores Mthatha and bought an extension of 2 years warranty at R 249.00.

We now have a problem with the microwave, it stopped working, when you turn it on the on switch to warm up food it does not work but the light inside the microwave turns.

We then went to Game stores as the microwave is still under guarantee / warranty, they took the microwave. They later requested for the inside plate of the microwave, later called to say that we have to pay R 1000.00 for fixing it because it has got ****roaches inside. Mind you their warranty is not yet expired let alone my extension warranty which they claim it has not reflected as yet on their system.

Since we dont have R1000.00 to pay for it to be fixed by game then they cant help us, whilst our warranty on records expires 01st May 2022. So we requested refund of our so called not working warranty of R249.00, our Microwave back but they blatantly refused, even to give back the microwave as they require R200.00 for them to collect it wherever they sent to, let alone unfixed.

Kindly assist, we are in so much distress.
