Game store Mitchells Plain undecided

I bought a TV at Game,Promenade,Mitchell's Plain. After paying, I went to collect the TV with the receipt. The consultant made a copy of the receipt because the glossy receipt spoils after a while. I am always grateful for this kind of help.

However it happened that the TV failed to go on after a few months. The original receipt was misplaced but the copy was available.

At Game the lady was arrogant about the copy and arrogantly warned us that she will take it so but it is the last time and on collecting, we MUST bring the original.

This is not the first time that their returns department have this attitude.

This let to an enquiry with other Game Stores which aggreed to accept the copy of the receipt and that even a pic of the receipt will do.

I just simply hate their attitude but do understand why they need the original.

But it spoils therefore the copy.

Please make it clear to me if the copy is a problem, then all branches should use originals only. If not,make it hard clear to Promenade to accept the copy with a clear understanding that the original becomes illegible after months and copy is accepted.

It will not be nice if a copy is clear and shows the item is still under warranty but the original receipt is spoiled and they refuse to take it in.

I am prepared to place my displeasure on all platforms such as Hello Peter,etc.

Game is a good company and buys alot from that store.
