Game selling defective items and staff calls customers *****.
I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with your staff at your store in Tygervalley Mall. My wife bought a Campmaster Gazebo that was on special during the month of December as a Christmas gift for me. Fearing that it would be sold out, she purchased it on the 3rd of December. I opened the gift on Christmas, but we only used it for the 1st time on the 1st of January. On this occasion, as we put together the gazebo, the seam came apart on the top. Then after further inspection, we found rust between the joints of the frame. I took the item back to the store, where I explained the issue to the "Outdoor" consultant, who then referred me to the manager. I explain the situation, and the manager agreed that it is a defect on the seam but all he could do was repair the roof of the gazebo. I explained several times that we only opened it on Saturday the 1st, and the more I explained that the more he called me a ****. Stating that I should have checked the item in-store and that steel will rust. He mentioned that game is not responsible for items rusting and it is not part of the guarantee. I did mention that this is ridiculous and I do not want my money back, I just want an item free of defects. He denied this and said he will only send the roof for repair.
The staff member is Nathaniel Cornelius, game store management.
I don't appreciate being treated in this manner. It has been less than 30 days, so I am within my right to return the defective item for a proper replacement.
