Game sales manager doesn't know his policies
I purchased a TV today at Game in Canal Walk. I had a valid TV license in a family members name, with their ID and my proof of address saying I reside there.
The sales manager who worked on Saturday 31st August at Game in Canal Walk was so unhelpful and unfriendly. Honestly he looked miserable to be at work.
He kept on telling me that the TV license holder needs to be present. I read up on the information provided on Games website and it doesn't state that the person needs to be present in store. So now we have two valid TV licenses for 1 residential address.
If that's the policy of Game then how come they have worded it so vaguely on there website as to lead the consumer to believe sufficient proof of a valid TV license is all they need.
I ended up buying the TV and the license because I was in a rush but the service I experienced from that store and the sales manager left a bad taste in my mouth about purchasing from Game Canal Walk again.
So bad that it lead me to research what information they actually have readily available to the public about their policies and I'm now disgusted by the whole idea that I gave my money to them.
I would also like a refund on the license most recently purchased because I find it unnecessary to have two being paid by one household.
