GAME ******* ON ACCOUNTS!

I have had a Game account for some time now.

I have had the opportunity to do bulk payments greater than my monthly installments into my account so I can completely eradicate this account so I am free of this debt

To my surprize although my account due was only R450 per month, I went ahead and paid them 6 x that in the hope I would pay it off quicker. Ha... ha... was I surprized…. Although I had paid them 6 times what I was due, if I had not paid Game by the 01st me thinking I am nicely ahead of my payments, they would call me countless times... the following month I paid my installment x 3 the value I should, same thing happened if I did not pay them ON THEIR due payment date, I was harassed!

I then went into Game requesting a statement of which I never received by email before...

To my horror..there on my statement was, interest 3 different lines of interest shown...collections fee R23,....monthly service fee....collections sms…REALLY!!!

I was furious to say the least asked for my balance knowing I had a value in mind...was totally astonished to discover I had an additional R1146 to settle my own amount, JUST to settle my account.... Really!!!!

One thing is for sure...this has now lead to me wanting to close my account.. take this up with the Ombudsman further to find out is this legal...

How do young married folk get on their own 2 feet buying essentials without finding themselves in debt.

I deserve an answer please Game Discount world.... really.... You not happy with making money on selling your goods...
