Game promises to mislead customers

Ordered from Game on 11 Dec. Received acknowledgement with the following:

"Hello Guest, Thank you for your order from Game Online. Our delivery promise is Within 7 days."

Note, please, no mention of 7-10 days and no mention of Working Days in this "promise".

I called the help line to enquire if, in view of the promise and tomorrow being day 7, I could expect delivery tomorrow (Saturday) I wanted to know if I needed to make arrangements for someone to be at home tomorrow to accept delivery. Call Centre agent Rebekah told me the promise was 7 - 10 working days. When I read her the promise from the mail I had in front of me, she told me "they" had said it was 7 - 10 working days. Game, get your own facts right. This would certainly have influenced my buying decision. Your promise is false and misleading. I requested Rebekah to put me through to a supervisor to discuss this, but she refused, saying the best she could do was request a call back. Regarding my delivery, Rebekah apparently has to contact the store to enquire about delivery progress. I requested a call back, she asked me to hold while she contacted the store. I said no, as she is the customer care agent, she should check and call me, as I have a life other than phoning Game and hanging on at her convenience. I asked for a call back by lunch tome - she said she couldn't guarantee that - but had previously asked me to hold while she contacted the store. Was I supposed to hold until lunchtime. Some further training of your Customer Care agents wouldn't go amiss. And a review of your Promise
