GAME — PAID IN FULL, SHORT DELIVERED, THEN THE PAPERWORK CHANGED - ******* code of conduct
GAME — THIS IS ******* 1 STAR — and only because 0 stars isn't an option On 15 August 2026, I ordered and PAID IN FULL R597 for 3 USN products from Game Stores.
Order number: ***
Only ONE product was delivered.
Then it gets worse.
I am sitting with BOTH invoices.
My original invoice shows the 3 products I ordered and paid R597 for.
The subsequent invoice for the exact same order suddenly shows ONLY ONE PRODUCT for R199.
So where did the other R398 go?
That is not a minor administrative error when I have the original documentation proving that I paid R597 for three products.
And before Game tries to tell me otherwise, I can log into my Game profile, go to ORDER HISTORY, and there it is — the original order clearly showing all 3 products, confirming exactly what I ordered and paid for.
For a WEEK I have been going backwards and forwards with Game:
“We are investigating.”
“We need to contact the branch.”
“The branch hasn't gotten back to us.”
Excuse after excuse. STILL NO REFUND.
Try asking for manager or supervisor, ull be placed on hold the whole day
Now suddenly you need my banking details and bank confirmation letter so that Finance can process the refund because the branch hasn't responded?
HELLO GAME — THIS WAS AN ONLINE ORDER.
I paid R597.
You delivered one product valued at R199.
I am still owed R398.
And now I am sitting with two invoices for the same order — one showing what I actually ordered and paid for, and another showing only the R199 item that was delivered.
I regard the deliberate alteration of the transaction documentation to represent my R597 purchase as a R199 purchase as ******* and potentially *****ulent conduct.
I have retained both invoices, my original order history, proof of payment and delivery records.
I want my R398 refund and I want an explanation of why my original transaction documentation was changed and who authorised it.
I will NOT let this go.
My money WILL be refunded.
And if Game thinks I am going to get tired of chasing this and walk away, they have seriously underestimated me.
If this cannot be resolved properly, I will take the matter further through the appropriate channels.
As for Game Stores:
PATHETIC.
It is not worth the time, effort or frustration. You take a customer's R597, fail to deliver the complete order, and then make the customer spend a week chasing you for R398 of their own money.
I will never enter into business with Game again.3
