GAME ONLINE SERVICE PROMISE BIG **** !!!!!

Game Stores is one of the biggest retail stores in South Africa, also offering online service. A quote from the order confirmation that I placed on Wednesday, 30 Jan 2019. “Our delivery promise is 3 - 5 days,” Note: it states DAYS not working days. On Thursday, 31 January 2018 I received an email stating the following: Great news! Your order has been dispatched from our warehouse and its making its way to you. Today is Thursday, 7th February 2019. Exactly 8 days after being informed that the order is on it’s way, I still haven’t received the order. The only thing I can say, is that I ordered on Amazon before (order shipped from Singapore) and it didn’t take this long, and no aggravation. The order was supposed to be delivered from Durban to Port Elizabeth. I have been phoning “GAME ONLINE” on numerous occasions trying to find out when I will receive the order, and the promise I received from them is the exact same promise as above, Games testimony is not worth the paper its written on as they don’t keep their promise, don’t care that they are sitting with your money and you have to beg and plead to get some form of services. I already thought of requesting a Refund. But I know I would get some company policy nonsense that I have to wait 7 working days. So, either way, you are *****ed. I should also mention, on the order you have to give the address for Delivery. It states the street number, and street name as well as the suburb: SHERWOOD, PORT ELIZABETH. Today, the courier company contacted me, informing me that he can’t find the address, He is currently in DURBAN looking for SHERWOOD. I’m at a loss for words. Not only has this order been dragging on, no service, it costed me so much money on phone calls. I was promised by employees of GAME ONLINE that they would get the manager to contact me, to sort this issue out. Same type of promise. Doesn’t exist. Tomorrow is Friday, 8th February 2019. I would probably be informed when I phone once again tomorrow that it is weekend, So we should be lucky if we receive it next week. This is the worst ever most disappointed online service I have ever experience. There is no way that I would ever even consider using GAME online. I would rather pay twice as much for a product in future than to wait and beg for something that was paid like I have been doing since the 4th February 2019.
