I assisted my grandmother to purchase a refrigerator on the Game website on the 19th of December and was pleasantly surprised when they delivered it on the 22nd of December, little did I know that that would be shortlived! How heartbreaking- I thought I was having a good service experience for once. When I arrived home that Saturday I got home to complaints from my gran that the top fridge hasn't cooled anything and I thought it was just because it was just switched on a little over 3 hours ago, come Sunday the top fridge was still acting like a warmer instead of a fridge. So on Monday the 24th I decided to call Game customer care on ********** 333 at 10:04 and spoke to Shameeg who advised me that a request for an agent to come on sight has been logged and that it would take 3-5 days to come and do a technical assessment on the refrigerator then only then would we know if we are getting the fridge replaced or repaired. Mind you it's Christmas and all that jazz so our food went off and we had to throw it away, milk only lasts a day and whatever you prepare has to be consumed immediately- I thought buying online would be the most efficient way to help my gran since the malls are always so packed at this time but nope. On the 26th the bottom freezer also stopped working so now we had a double warmer to ruin food instead of something to keep food fresh. I called in again on Thursday 27.12.2018 and was transferred to Shameeg who updated the request to say that the fridge was completely out. So now literally we bought a fridge that never started working, instead it is chilling and acting like furniture. I am so defeates by this, I don't even have transport to take it and go dump it at a game store. This is extremely disappointing and not fair to our consumer rights. Ideally we do not want a replacement or a repair on the fridge a full refund is all we are looking for and expecting.
