Game not true to their warranty

My wife Ms B Gordon bought a cell phone on special from Game Cresta around the beginning of May 2018. Three weeks later it stopped working altogether. On returning to Game she was told that it will take 2-3 weeks to repair. Surely the phone should have been replaced immediately, and if not 2-3 wees is not acceptable.
