GAME N1 CITY does not honour price beat policy

Today I received thee worst customer service from this store.

I initially wanted to do a price beat. Woolworths has an item marked down for 75% off the normal price. I waited about 30 minutes, I was told they are calling to find out the price. This after he Googled it and found it on their website and showed it to them on the app. After confirming the price, they wanted to know why. I could already see that they we stalling, as to not honour the policy. Because it never take this long. then I was told they cannot do a price beat because the item is being discontinued. An item that is a household staple (and brand) which I know is completely untrue. Because before they told me this they kept speaking to each other, under their breath – so I could already tell they had made up their mind. It was too good a deal and they were going to lie through their teeth Jacobs Kruning will never discontinue there coffee. So I was just **** to blatantly Next issue - which is now my bigger issue.

AFTER AN HOUR I had to deal with 3 managers, 1 in particular, Werner, was so condescending that I even felt embarrassed. He kept speaking over me, even felt it just fine to shout at me and cutting me off even though he was just repeating the same thing over and over – he did not let me respond to his reasoning which made no sense at all. Even using words that do not exist probably to try and confuse me. (I have a very good command of the English language and even I couldn’t understand his vocabulary) I felt bul****. Shouted at and spoken down to by this man who said he is a senior and because Gary was not there he will make the call. Even though I did not feel as if he had made a valid point, I walked out. close to tears because I could not believe how patronising this man had been. Even took his mask off at one stage and had spit ***** flying all over. People were staring, and I wondered – if I were not a woman on my own, would this man have treated me so poorly? And bul**** me right in front of the store for everyone to stare? He could not comprehend that he was wrong, and his reason was invalid and felt that my bullying me would get rid of me. it worked. I am utterly disgusted. A gentleman even followed me out and asked if I was okay and advised I report his RUDE BEHAVIOUR Never in my life have I been so mistreated by a shop worker.

I am disgusted, how is he even a manager, and if so, how recent is last customer service training? I would like feedback on both these matters.
