Game makes inferior quality products the consumer’s problem

I purchased a Genesis vacuum cleaner from Game with a two year warranty. The vacuum broke within nine months. Game does not take responsibility for the products it sell but defers to its suppliers. The vacuum cleaner was replaced but before the warranty was up it broke a second time. I returned to Game and the appliance was sent away for several weeks before supposedly being repaired and returned to me. About a month later the machine broke again. This is aside from the issues in quality deemed “ordinary maintenance” such as the wheels breaking, the lever of one compartment breaking, the pipe itself breaking. Game should have refunded me the first time the machine broke, or at least the second. Instead they wait out the warranty. Now after the third break I am told that the warranty is up so the only option is to pay to repair the machine. What sensible person would pay to fix a product that has broken three times? I hope future customers can avoid a similar experience. Rather purchase a vacuum elsewhere.

Hi Megan, thank you for getting in touch. I'm sorry, for the experience you had with your vacuum cleaner. Regrettably, it is the supplier who will advise whether an item will be repaired or credited. I will escalate your query and you will be reverted to.
