GAME HAZYVIEW PATHETIC

Around about the 14th September 2020, Game ran an advert for specials on a Defy Gas Stove. As I was in the market for two such stoves, on the 21st September I travelled the 40kms to Game in Hazyview to buy these said items. On arrival, I was informed that they in fact did not have any in stock, but was assured that this would not be a problem as they had in fact ordered some of these stoves two weeks before and that they "should be there any day soon". I then paid for both stoves immediately "to secure the price" and was told to await their call once the stoves arrived. Weeks went by with numerous calls from me to them. The same old story. They had not arrived yet but it was Defy's fault but they should be here soon. Of the 10 odd calls that I made and was told by Game Hazyview that they would follow up and get back to me, only about two ever did follow through with their undertaking.

Eventually after more enquiring, I was told that in fact ONE of my stoves had arrived (6th Nov) and I could collect it (after they said that they would deliver to me due to the holdup). The one stove was collected thus on the 6th November with the promise that the second one would follow ( and be delivered to me) within days. Yesterday (24th November) I followed up yet again with a call to see what has happened to my second stove. No one could in fact tell me or seemed to know anything about it. My name and number was taken with the promise (yet again) to call me back with information. Well guess what. Twenty-four hours later and I am still waiting for their call. Game in Hazyview is USELESS and I would avoid them at all costs.
