Game has secretive terms and conditions

Worst service ever at GAME Lebowakgomo. My friend bought me a USB cable there as a gift cause I lost my USB cable, he gave me the cable yesterday as I'm from Bloemfontein and only arrived yesterday. We tried to return the USB cable to GAME Lebowakgomo and tell them that it's not working and they told us we're supposed to return it within 24 hours. He asked them where on their terms and conditions does it State that we can only return USB cables within 24 hours they said it's not written there but it's a rule. Had he known that he's supposed to check the item for defects and return it within 24 hours he would've tested it in store. Nobody told him about this rule of theirs and it's not written anywhere. This is totally unacceptable and terrible behavior from GAME. I'm never going to buy anything from GAME ever again and I'd strongly advice anyone to stay away from GAME stores as they have their own terms and conditions which they don't tell customers about and will only tell them to customers when they return or exchange defective products. Shame on them!
