Game Fleurdal Ignoring Me
I have visited many Game stores around South Africa and this seems to be the common trend everywhere. On 3 December 2019, I visited the Game store at Fleurdal in Bloemfontein. I went to the toys aisle and wanted a specific toy for my daughter. I stood in the aisle with no one around me to assist. Everywhere around the store though there were groups of Game staff standing around chatting. I walked out of that aisle and went and stood at the end of the aisle where it connects with an aisle that crosses it. I stood at that "corner" for a couple of minutes with my arms folded watching how Game staff walked past me, not offering assistance, while others were chatting. A lady with a Verimark shirt eventually came over to assist me after we have been making eye contact for quite some time. This is not the first time I've had this experience with Game staff. I am also not the only one to complain about it. No one will actually come over to you and ask whether you need help; they expect you to reach out to them and ask for help. And often times they refer you to someone else anyway. Come on Game! Come on!
