Game false adverti*****t
<p>I was at Game this morning to buy a laptop advertised in the newspaper! But apparently they advertised the price wrong and now they don't want me to buy it for that price! But if it was advertised for that price isn't it false advertising to then not sell it for that price, regardless if it was a misprint?</p>
We acknowledge receipt of your complaint and apologize for your inconvenience with the error on the advert.
As soon as we were made aware yesterday, the following was action to aligns to CPA requirements:
A web apology which appears on the promotions page – went up yesterday to cover the rest of the country.
Store apology went up in the rest of the country yesterday morning.
Leaflet on the web was always correct.
Therefore we can unfortunately not honour the incorrect price advertised.
