Game exchange policy

I have had the worst experience with Game specifically the one in Eastgate where I bought an iron. I bought the Genisis megasteam iron and day one I tried using it it keeps leaking water and everything I iron becomes wet, I cannot iron and wear anything. 3 days after I purchased it I went back to Game to inform them about this and get an exchange but the guy who is in charge of verimark goods in the store rudely said he will not exchange it cause I have used it and when he plugs it in store it works, I asked him to try ironing atleast one item with it to see what I am talking about but he said as long as the iron is hot and I used it I might as well forget about exchanges and if I have a problem I might as well go to head quarters and he will answer for it. I am left with an iron that cost me R850 seating in the box
