Appaling. i made a purchase yesterday in a game store using a game card. Teller service great. Post purchase she advised that I need a new card - one with a pin code and directed me to the counter to sort that out. Went to counter greeted by a lovely friendly consultant. She saw my old card with my old card and asked me to confirm details to what she had on system. Further I was asked for my ID. An OTP was sent to my cell for more varification. I signed documentation. simple efficient 6 point ID confirmation done. Today - Sunday - I get a call that truecaller says is RCS loans spam, i have a consultant saying that there is unsusual spend on my card. if i dont say where i live and other personal details they blocking the card. (A threat) The consultant refused to give his surname but only spelt his name. i have that. So this sounds so professional and not a **** at all - refusing to give me confirmation who i am dealing with, threatening me that if i dont give my personal sensitive info (POPI Act is clear on this) then my card is blocked. game if this is how you deal with follow ups this is an epic fail. instore was a 6 point client confirmation process.

I asked for the wave file of the confirmation and told i may get it after their process.
