GAME DOES NOT WANT TO REPAIR MY LAPTOP
I purchased an i-life laptop from Game in Brooklyn Mall on the 20th of December 2019. Less than 6 months ofter purchasing the laptop the screen just went black, the laptop works however the screen is black. I took it in to for repairs in May 2020 and I was told that they are changing to a new system and they couldn't help me with booking in the laptop, they took down my details and told me they would call me after a weeks. 2 months later on the 24th of July 2020 after not receiving any communication from Game I decided to take the laptop into the store again. I was told that they would take the laptop but they were having an issue with their supplier, i-life, receiving the laptops. Today (04 August 2020) I received a call from Game and they told me that there was ink on the inside of the screen, they can see this even though the screen doesn't work which was a surprise to me as I had never seen this so called ink before when the laptop screen worked. I then asked them why they hadn't booked my laptop for repairs after a week and a half and I was told that their system was not working yet again which I wasn't told. When asked what would happen with the warranty in the event that it runs out before the laptop is booked and I was told that it would be my problem. I never expected to receive such appaling service from a store such as Game as I believe them to have a good reputation. I have spent as much time trying to get them to fix the laptop as I have used the laptop. This is really disheartening because I use the laptop for school and now I have to rely on borrowing or using an Internet cafe to complete and submit my assignments. This is really unfair
