Don't ever book your printer in at Game for repairs especially if you are extremely busy. They are *********** with communication. They've recorded my details incorrectly, failed to communicate with me successfully and subsequently destroyed my printer.
The staff member who checked my printer in must have been half asleep while working and recorded my cell phone number incorrectly. In addition to this, the person recorded me as a male instead of a female because clearly this staff member must have been half asleep on the job... They never even bothered to double check my cell number, nor take a second contact number, nor take down an email address in which to communicate to me with. I've received no letter or any other form of communication.
While waiting for communication from Game, I then became not just busy, but extremely over loaded with full time work and full time university post grad studies that I never had time to go in to Game to see what was the holdup
Now that I inquire about it, I am told my printer which costed me over R1200 is destroyed. Not only has a Game staff member failed to record my contact details correctly and failed to communicate with me, but they have also failed to communicate these procedures to me verbally so that I could be aware of all of this to begin with.
Eugene Van Wyk is the most unprofessional rude supervisor with no resolution s****s who wants to continuously argue and refuses to acknowledge their share of the fault in the matter.
Game needs to up their game with learning how to communicate effectively. This is the most unprofessional service I've ever experienced. Customers need to be aware that if Game staff members fail to communicate to you successfully because of their incompetence with recording details correctly, then your possesions you've trusted to them will be destroyed and they will not verbally communicate these procedures to you either!

Best regards,
After our discussion in store yesterday I investigated the matter you reported and found the following.
Your printer was booked in on the 21st of April 2017, more than a year and 5 months ago.
Your printer was booked in out of warrantee as your warrantee had expired and there was no proof of purchase.
The feedback from the supplier was that your printer required a new printer head and that there was no available spares to repair your printer so it was sent back to the store unrepaired.
The attached repair slip was our store copy of your repair, please note the section that I have highlighted regarding uncollected repairs. You have signed and acknowledged this on the 21st of April 2017 and a copy of this was given to you. When I asked for your copy yesterday you said that you were not sure if you still had it but you will go and look for it.
Your personal and contact details is recorded on this same document which you acknowledge by signing it and at no stage did you inform us that any of your details recorded on this document was incorrect.
I acknowledge what you have indicated to us about the last digit of your cell phone number that has been recorded incorrectly, unfortunately at this point of time it is impossible to proof who was at fault for the incorrect number as you provide the number verbally as our consultant would type.
After we were unable to reach you on the contact details that we had your unrepaired printer was disposed of on the 30th of July 2017 as per stipulations on your repair document which you have acknowledge through your signature. The stipulation is that any repairs that is uncollected after 3 months would be disposed of to defray expenses.
In the more than 1 year and 5 months since you have booked in your printer with us you have made no attempt to contact or visit the store regarding your printer or incorrect contact details.
Based on my above findings I’m unfortunately unable to assist you in your complaint regarding your printer that has been disposed of.
In good faith if you are interested in purchasing a new printer I will look into giving you the best possible price. Should you wish to take me up on this offer you can ask for me when you are in store.
