Game Cresta staff pathetic

I went into Game Cresta to purchase a pack of 3 swimming goggles priced at R199 on the shelf. At the till to pay, their system picked it up as R299. I informed the cashier and she tried asking a lady who I presume was her senior about it, but this lady just walked past. I then went myself to the shelf, took a picture of the price and returned to the till. The cashier had vanished so we assumed she also went to check the price. Minutes went by and we asked her neighbouring cashiers if they knew where she was as we can't wait for long - they just shrugged their shoulders without even responding to us. I waited for 10 minutes and then left leaving my intended purchases at the till. On reaching home I complained about this to Game Customer Services. On Monday, I received a call from Doris, the front line manager at the store who apologised and said she spoke to the staff member involved and said it will not happen again then demanded my acceptance of her apology without any recourse to my inconvenience. What was worse is she then asked if I knew which cashier it was...this means she **** about talking to the person since she didn't actually know who it was. I asked if I can still get the product at the price I saw on the shelf and she changed the topic - Game has not changed and their Cresta store has given me severally bad experiences. Massmart needs to do something about their management and staff attitude - it is disgraceful. They would never allow a supplier to treat them the way they treat their customers.
