Game card ****

About a year ago I was persuaded by a young lady in Game to subscribe to a Game card. She told me that the guarantee period on any item purchased with the card would be doubled but she neglected to point out that there is a monthly 'service fee' of R59 plus interest, whether the card is used or not. I emailed cancellation which was ignored, then had to travel some distance to the store where I spent more than half an hour cancelling the card by phone. Although I settled the 'outstanding amount' in full and was assured that the card was cancelled more than a month ago, I have now received another invoice for R59 plus R0.67 interest and R4.04 'customer protection insurance. This is nothing more than a ****, do not be talked into taking one of these.
