Game card not accepted at stores as promised

I recently received an sms from Game indicating that my store card can now be used at all other RCS retailers except Edcon group at this stage.

I very excitedly went to Pep Stores, did a lot of shopping, only to get to the till and find out my card DOES NOT work. I was extremely humiliated and embarrassed!

I checked with some other retailers on the RCS website as well, such as Spur, and my Game Store card also doesn't work there!

I also sent a message on the Game Facebook page on Tuesday and was told it would be looked into. I sent a follow up message today (Thursday) only to be told the same thing?!

What is going on? How do I guess where my Game Store card will actually work or not? This is humiliating and embarrassing!!

This is also misleading marketing which I’m sure is unacceptable by CPA standards.
