Game branches now decide not to stock specials

I was shocked to respond to the adverti*****t in Game's \Home Maintenance\" brochure for 10kg HTH by going to the Grand Central Game store in Cape Town only to be told that this branch no longer stocks any pool consumables - because they do not sell!!!<br> <br> Now that Walmart has a major shareholding in Game, Game's approach to customer convenience has changed dramatically - presumably because short term profits are deemed more important.<br> <br> The one element of Game Stores was that each branch stocked the same products. This has now been discarded, so customers can no longer trust Game. To make matters worse, they advertise a product in a very widely distributed brochure that is not EVER stocked by the main Cape Town branch. This is not a case of running out of stock. It is a case of deliberate misleading advertising and should be brought to the attention of the Advertising Standards Authority.<br> <br> Does Game care whether customers no longer trust them?<br> "
