Game branch specials differ

Checked a special in a local paper(2 PS4 games for R500), was sent a pic by a friend including receipt as he had bought as i didn't believe him. Tried to purchase online as special was ending today and i did not have time to get to a store however price was not updating as per special, called online support( ********** 333), they could not assist as they said price was in store only and I was transferred to head office, guy at head office said he couldn't assist with order so he requested item number( ********** 0) which i provided off the online store, he checked and said i need to go in store for special, so i asked again for price confirmation on special as i stated i don't want to waste my time going to a store - he confirmed special price. Then i asked him to please check which stores around my location had stock, he referred me to the Glen. All was good until i get to the Glen to order 4 copies(friends in office wanted this as well after overhearing my conversation), i get to the till and the price was not coming up as expected, had to wait about 10 minutes before someone came back to me saying these were only on Games priced at R299, so i show them a pic of the receipt of my friends purchase and the response was not from our store(to which i respond this is Game right?) Anyway i could see i was not going to be assisted so i requested a letter stating that they would not sell me the item as the sale was ending today so that i could share this with head office after being sent to store - i was refused this as well, i couldn't speak to the store manager(Chauke Matsilele) as they had left for the day, the lady standing in i assume said his feedback was for me to phone head office the next day on a different number( ********** 991), i made it clear i'm not happy as I feel the ad should be honoured as it clearly was at another branch, anyway left my number at the store wonder if the manager would actually call back... What a waste of time(left the office early), drove out my normal route endured traffic all for nothing, very annoyed.
