Game at carnival mall

I purchased a generator at game on the 15th December 2022.i used itfor two months and on february the 15th December2023 when trying to plug it did nor suply electricty. I therefore took it back to the store.t was told that they will take it for verification and it will take about 21working days. They contacted me that the generator had same materiat that was not working and i knew that i had a warranty for 2 years and it was less than 6 months. Since the purchase. The lady that i spoke to told me that i had to pay R2500 in order for the generator to befixed which cofused me.and i haven't got my generator since then.
