Game and Whirlpool products

Why does Game stores fool loyal customers by selling Whirlpool product while they well aware that Whirlpool with draw dealings with RSA. The brand is discontinued in South Africa. Where are we suppose to get spares if they not available in RSA anymore? I bought a Whirlpool Combo washing a month ago to find out my ensurance does not cover repairs for Whirlpool sould i fall out my gaurantee period?
