Faulty washing machine door

Bought a washing machine in October last year the door hinge is broken reported it on the 7 March 2026 and the fault was only attended to on the 16 March 2026. The lady at the shop insisted that that the door never breaks. When the technician came he says he is busy with several of these doors the hinge seems to be the weak spot. Imagine if I could have listened to her and the machine is still within its warranty period
