Faulty Logik 74 cm Colour Tv Set<br> <br> I purchased a Logik 74 cm colour television set from the Game Store at the Gateway Shopping Centre in Umhlanga Rocks about four years ago.<br> <br> On Saturday night the 30th May 2015, while watching a movie, there was sparks flying out from the backend of the television set and an explosion like bursting fire crackers came from inside of the television set. The Logik 74 cm colour television set was immediately switched off. <br> <br> On Sunday the 31st May 2015, the Logik 74 cm colour television set was switched on and it worked for about an hour and again I heard the explosion like bursting fire crackers coming from inside of the television set.<br> <br> In the event of the Logik 74 cm colour television set catching on fire and does damage to property or if it explodes and injures the viewers, who will be responsible?<br> <br> Do I report the above issue for investigation from where I purchased the Logik 74 cm colour television set or to the Consumer Affairs Commission or the Department of Trade and Industries?<br> <br> Reader's advice is welcome<br>
