FALSE PRICE BEAT ADVERTISING
I submitted a price beat request as per their policy to Game Online with all the requirements that is stated on their website. I did not receive any responses. When I followed up myself, I was advised that the item in question was no longer available at the store that had it at a cheaper price and that I should read through the requirements of requesting a price beat at Game and follow the procedure. I checked the item again at the store in question and the item was available. I called the customer service center and explained what had transpired and was advised by the agent that I had indeed followed the correct procedure and the matter would be escalated. I received a call thereafter from another agent attending to the escalation and relayed the entire story once again. Again I was found to be correct, but was given excuses about how the website had not been updated with the correct procedure and this was not my fault. I was asked to resubmit the link where I found the item cheaper of which I did. Almost 3 weeks later, I am still awaiting a response from Game Head Office As I was told by the Agent that they would contact me. Game service is pathetic, this is not the first time I am experiencing this and their PRICE BEAT POLICY is a whole load of untruthfulness as they do not comply with policy. They tried to find every excuse about me following incorrect procedure but could not win in the end because I had everything in order therefore THEY HAVE NOT BOTHERED TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME. Their policy does not exist to my knowledge and neither do they know what the policy really is. GAME IS BASICALLY FALSE ADVERTISING
