False adverti*****t

I purched a best way Steel pro max pool 3.05mx 76cm at game on the 30th of November 2021 priced at R999 and was charged R2499 for what was suppose to cost me R999 as per adverti*****t dated 24th November - 30th November 2021. I was shocked to see I have been charged exactly R1500 over the amount I was suppose to pay. I returned the next day to query this with the store manager as well as salesman that assisted whom is only known to me as Werner and the manager on the next day also only known to me as Lucy.i was told that the adverti*****t was incorrect and the salesperson is not working on the next day the 1st of December 2021. The fact that the adverti*****t being incorrect is non of my concern I believe as per consumer rights act stating the price advertised as per item is the price you need to pay however I was charged almost double of what I was suppose to pay.i feel I have been done a grief injustice by game stores N1 city branch and feel so many other consumers has possibly also been done such injustice too. With the current economic state of our country I can not see how big named stores can still afford to rob/deceive their consumers of items advertised and sold to them too it creates I great mis trust in everything else the store offers to its clients and can possibly also lead to a decline in sales from that specific store such as game which has now decieved me into purchasing a item above price advertised in their brochure dated from 24th -30th November 2021 and purchased within that time frame stipulated by their brochure.
