False advertising at its best!

Game’s online website is misleading with their pricing. We wanted to purchase a pool. The Bestway steel frame to be exact. Games website said that the Bestway steel pro max pool 3.05m x 76cm was selling for R2999 including the pump. No where did it indicate that this was a special price/ on sale. So we see cape gate doesn’t have stock but it’s our nearest one so we figured we go there to see maybe we get lucky as sometimes the system isn’t updated, or they can source from another branch. we get there to find they have the exact same pool (Bestway steel pro max 3.05m x 76cm) for R2999 but these don’t have pumps included (?). We proceed to talk to one of the floor managers who said: 1.They are two different pools - no they aren’t they are identical. 2. The one we saw on the website was a deal for Black Friday- like I said NO WHERE did it say deal/special/Black Friday nothing. 3. The website prices differ to the price in store, the usual price is more- excuse me? So you are giving me the option to see if the nearby stores have stock and then you are telling me that if I go to physically purchase the product I’m going to pay a different price to the one advertised?

False advertising at its best and disappointing arguments. As a consumer you will be getting a lot of irate customers coming in querying the same thing.
