False advertising and waste of time

So Monday on so called cyber special Game advertised a Samsung z4 for a special of R599. Took of early from work, drove all the way there. Upon arrival the excuse was they didn't get stock and they won't be getting any in anyway ? Phoned some more stores and they had the same story? So if you know ur not getting stock, why still advertise it? Surely one would know what stock u have to put on special? False advertising much? Waste of time and effort....
