False advertising and pathetic service
Bought a Copper Chef pan in November. I registered it as the pan supposedly has a lifetime guarantee. The non-stick wore off within a few months and we took the pan back to the store in March. That's only 4 months. The staff member at the service counter laughed at my husband and told him nothing has a lifetime guarantee (it says so on the box and their advertising!) and that they can't do anything for him. He spoke to a manager who then referred to the rep. Rep says there's is nothing wrong with the pan, we just need to soak it. If it's a non-stick pan, why do we need to soak it? Also, we made eggs. The adverti*****t says you don't even need oil. There is no way you can make food in this pan in this state without oil. While this wasn't an expensive pan, its qualities have been over-inflated and falsely advertised. I'm also distressed by the way Game handles complaints and returns. You're made to feel like an idiot for buying a product they punt in their stores. This is the last time we buy anything from Game. I'd rather take a drive to the Makro down the road.
