False advertising

i went to the n1 city store.they advertised kids sleeping bags with build in mattress. the sales person was very helpful but didn't know the product. He went to ask the manager and i waited very long. The manager told him that it has been discontinued and they don't sell it. I asked to speak to the manager as the item is actually in the latest catalogue. I waited very long and he never came. So please tell me why you advertise something that is not on your system, that has been discontinued. The sales staff knows nothing and when you wait for the manager he takes forever to show up. The consumer protection act states clearly that if you advertise something and you don't have stock you should offer something else.
