Expired goods verses bad service.

This Sunday the 25/09/16 i drove to a Game Store in Lakeside Mall to purchase a few merchandise including my all-time favourite Five roses earl grey tea. Only to notice all early grey teas that were on the shelf by the time are expired dated 02/06/16. I then brought it to the attention of the store Manager Martin, who further requested these goods to be removed by Sarah Ndlovu who was managing that section. Martin requested Sarah to look for this brand that i had come for, she went to look for it and Martin left me alone,15 minutes later Sarah came back informing me that they haven't ordered enough of these and non were available at that time. As a valued customer i than made a purchase of R380.00 and further moved to Game Liquor nearby. I was the 2nd in line to pay for my beverage, however the Cashier stated that she is awaiting authorisation for a faulty ring on the purchase made by the first customer, we waited 10 minutes until a store rep came up apologizing as she was sent by the supervisor to assist. She added on saying it’s not her responsibility as she is only assisting the supervisor. After paying the cashier i ended up realizing that i have wasted my own time only to come home disappointed. Shame on me...

Thank you Andile (Food Manager) for the call, however you stated on the call that i should direct such encounters with you directly. This still does not expain the negligence with the standards that should be set by yourselves. I would suggest training and adapting to the FIFO standards. No apologies from the Store Manager as well :( pity.

Many thanks to Rina Taute for ensuring that this query is being attended too.
