Expired chocolates purchased from Game stores

Purchased twix chocolates today 29th December from Game in Clearwater only to get home and find out after eating some that it had expired in July already. I have read about this specifically relating to Game stores and wonder if it's not deliberate as most people will just leave it and not bother to complain...bad bad experience!!!
