Exended warranty deception

I purchased a Defy 12-place dishwasher from Game and at the time invested in an extended warranty. Extended warranties are not cheap. The plastic on the dishwasher shelves is peeling off and the metal underneath rusting. I took a shelf to Game Fleurdal Bloemfontein and was told the shelves are covered in the original warranty but not the extended warranty.

It is not legal to differentiate between the original and the extended warranty unless the extended warranty specifies the exclusion which it doesn't. If it had I would not have bought the warranty. Defy and or Game must replace the shelves in terms of the warranty. It seems they hope I will just accept their warranty sleight of hand and go away. I won't!
