Don't purchase appliances from Game

I purchased a Defy washing machine from Game Umhlanga last year in July with a 3 year guarantee.

Since May/June 2020, when I do washing, when the machine is spinning, it cuts off on its own and I am required to start the cycle again in order for it to rinse then spin.

I use the Mini 30 option as the other wash cycles take too long (3 hours), the mini 30 washes the clothes then drains and spins before it starts the rinse cycle however my machine doesn't get a chance to rinse as while spinning it cuts off after during the spin.

The Mini 30 washes then drain and then spins, the machine cuts off after a few minutes of spinning, I do not record the whole spin cycle due to storage on my phone. Once the machine cuts off, I change the cycle to the rinse/spin option and while spinning there, it cuts off again and then i change to the SPIN only cycle in which it cuts off there as well.

The first technician that came out, Simphiwe told me that the machine is losing its memory, the second technician, Sphamandla told me it was the pump and he changed the pump, the third technician, Charles told me I was using too much washing powder. I told Charles that I use less than the recommended amount stipulated on the detergent bag as a 3KG OMO lasts me roughly 5-6 months. The fourth technician, Ugan came out to check the machine, I told him that Charles said I was using too much washing powder and he said no that's not the issue. He changed some circuit board and advised that I needed to change my drainage system in which I did at an additional cost of hiring a plumber.

The issue is still not resolved, when Ugan came out last week he advised that I am using too much washing powder.

The Mini 30 it's supposed to rinse 3 times before the final spins and the cycle ends however it doesn't so the washing powder is not rinsing off the clothes properly.

I have several videos (some are longer than 60 seconds) on different occasions where the machine cuts off in which I have showed it to the technicians that came through. I have been told that on the mini 30 the spin is supposed to be 60 seconds yet I have a video of roughly 1 minute, 20 seconds which is proof the technicians do no know what they are talking about.

What is the point of paying for a guarantee if Defy wants to keep repairing it? I want a refund in which I can add more money and buy another washing machine or replace the machine. Defy is clearly not complying with CPA and their 3 year guarantee policy, I paid for a guarantee, not a warranty.

Game has advised me that they require a credit from Defy in order to refund/exchange the machine however it looks like that will never happen.

I will never purchase from Game/Defy Again should this issue not be resolved.

Should i not receive a favorable response I will be taking it up with the Department of Trade and Industry as it is well within my right as a consumer.
