Don't Buy from Game

I would like someone to assist with my query as it has been a back and forth with no assistance bought an iron via uber eats at Game and the iron stopped working. I took back the iron to the store of which they are not willing to assist. How can I be sold something that stops working and no one is willing to take accountability?

Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

All goods must be good quality, in working order, and free of defects. If an item is faulty, you can return it within 6 months of purchase.

“In terms of the Consumer Protection Act (Section 56), I am exercising my right to a refund/replacement due to a defective product within 6 months of purchase.”
