Don't buy from Game

I bought a stramm chain saw from Game Heidelberg yesterday. We followed all instructions on the packaging but the saw just wouldn't start. Today, I came back to Game to either exchange or purchase another saw. They told me they are phoning the manufacturer to get instructions. They then advised me that according to the manufacturer I should leave the saw there and it will be sent to the manufacturer to investigate. I asked to speak to the "manufacturer ". The lady told me that she is not from the manufacturer but merely a company that they sent stuff to for repairs and I told the Game staff what the lady said. My issue is as I have told the manager, there is no notice or a staff member to advise you of this "rule" in the shop when you purchase the item. Needless to say, I took the saw and will contact the manufacturer and lodge a formal complaint with Game head office.
