Done with Game South Coast Mall

Last year I have had to return 3 items on the trot to Game I live 4 towns away from South Coast Mall I get sent back and forth until the sort it, this time it is a Ryobi Chainsaw which I purchased on 23 October which I used twice and it popped its sparkplug, the guarantee is for a year or 2 game quoted me to fix it R200 below the new price. A lumber jack was using the machine. The staff at complaints know me well already and are very sympathetic, having to bring products back time and again. I have had nthing but drama everytime I buy for game. I would never recommend buying power tools from game.

we used it in my garden by my gardener, who is a seasoned tree feller, living on the South coast trees abound, sp most gardeners are proficient with a chainsaws, I am so disappointed that you are trying to dodge your guarantee agreement, every time I have bought something it is a fight, people please be aware of this.

.Game eventually responded to me regarding the repair fees for my chainsaw, which originally cost R1,549. They reduced the repair fee from R1,332 to R900. However, they still refuse to honor the warranty of a 1 month old chainsaw used twice not wanting to replace it with a new one, blaming Ryobi and stating that Ryobi has specific conditions for their warranty. As a result, I will not be returning to Game to buy anything with a warranty or purchasing any Ryobi products again, especially since the leaf blower I bought was also a Ryobi product.

Game came back to me with all sorts of things that the warranty does not cover insisting I abused the chainsaw, I asked them to bring my machine back to the store and I will pick it up and have it seen to by my technician. What a disappointing outcome.

Game has just contacted me asking to rate their serves. They still haven't returned my machine to me or called me to fetch it. I have copied and pasted their machine.

Went to fetch my broken machine at Game. In store staff were amazing. Games policies are not.
This is now the end of the saga
