Do not buy online, service is pathetic.

Do not buy at Game online, worst service! Placed an order, delivery date no later than 24 February, on 23 February I'm told it will come on 2 March. Yet if purchased in store on 19th delivery was guaranteed for 21 February. Online department is definitely not sufficiently equipped to deal with purchases since they need such long time frames. Their customer support can't or won't escalate a faster delivery, all they say: waiting for the warehouse to create a job card. 3 days no job card! Maybe the whole of Durban are buying large appliances this week or I am just sidelined as a customer who needs my fridge urgently. Such an important home essential and I must just wait. No I need a fridge urgently and definitely no later that the initial date of 24 February. There is nothing in retail that can't be escalated, the meaning of service excellence. Now to cancel my order I must wait 3 to 5 days for a refund and if it's not in my account on the 5th day, I'm gonna get a stupid response, it's been processed. Of course I asked for a manager of course she was not available. Useless. I am disappointed and angry. Takealot also sells fridges and their delivery is faster than Game and I'm certain they sell more stock items of all different kinds compared to Game.
