Do not buy electronics from Game

I bought a Telefunken tablet from Game Lephalale. They switched it on in the shop and it appeared to be fine. The next they when I used it switched off. I thought it was the battery that was flat, but it never switched on again. I took it back to Game Lephalale and they refused to refund me, told me that they have to send it away first and then replace it if something is wrong. I don’t want a replacement, I want a refund. Even the manager said the same. I am not happy. I took it back same week I bought it. Where does the consumer act play a role when ot comes to Game Lephalale? Will never buy from Game again.
