Dispute of Unauthorized Charges and Incorrect Account Balance

I opened a Game credit account in March and purchased one item valued at R399.99. Shortly after, I noticed that an amount of R179.99 was being debited monthly for a “mobile content subscription” that I never consented to.

When I identified this on my statement during my first payment, I immediately contacted Game to report the issue and requested that the subscription be cancelled and the unauthorized charges reversed. However, the cancellation was only processed in May.

By May, I had already settled all my account payments in full. Despite this, my June statement still reflected another R179.99 charge for the same mobile content subscription. These deductions continued until August, even though I had repeatedly requested both a cancellation and a refund.

I have been informed several times that the reversal will not appear on the statement, yet the charge continues to reflect, and this ongoing issue has negatively affected my credit score. Within the first three months, I paid a total of approximately R900.00 without missing any payment, even though the only item I purchased cost R399.99. I am now receiving notices stating that I owe around R550, which is incorrect.

I kindly request that this matter be investigated urgently, the unauthorized charges be reversed, and my credit record corrected. IN MAY. IN MAY I HAD PAID OUT ALL MY DEBIT HOWEVER IN JUNE WHEN I RECEIVED MY INVOICE THEY HAD INCLUDED THE R179.99 FOR MOBILE CONTENT SUBSRIPTION THAT I NEVER CONSENTED TO, THEY KEPT DEDUCTING IT TILL AUGUST I HAVE BEEN REQUESTING THEM TO DO A REVERSAL AND CANCELLATION HOWEVER THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT IT WILL NOT REFLECT ON THE STATEMENT BUT IT KEEP APPEARING AND THIS HAS AFFECTED MY CREDIT SCORE. IN MY FIRST 3 MONTHS I HAD PAID OUT A TOTAL OF R 900.00 without skipping any payment however i am getting emails that i owe about r550 despite only taking an item that cost R399.99. PLEASE ASSIST
