displaying things that are out of stock

I have been looking for a sound bar the past week.....been to 2 different game stores they both display stuff that they dont have stock.....I wanted a telefunken sound bar was told its out of stock.....went back the following day I asked for an LG one still was told out of stock.....went back yesterday I asked for the one on your weekly specials catalogue I was told that they haven't received stock as yet....I need you guys to help me understand the logic behind displaying stock you dont have and also advertising something that you haven't even recieved from wherever u get your stock from.....thats false advertising!
