Disgusting service at Game Canal Walk

Absolutely appalling service at Game Canal Walk. I bought a fridge and was told that the sales person would accompany me to the till to organise a copy of my slip as proof of purchase. I continued on shopping and upon paying, had to chase down the sales person for my sales order. I was already busy with a million other jobs as one is when moving house so I paid and took the slip with me as the cashier indicated that she just needed the sales order. I had to produce my slip upon exiting to security in order to leave the store. Upon returning the next day on the promise by the sales person the previous day that the fridge would be ready to collect, I was told that because I didn't give him the slip, the fridge was never delivered. Never before in my life have I experienced such horrific service . When asked what now, his reply was " it's not my fault, you can go to returns for your money back." Because of this lazy and *********** staff member, I had to travel to TWO other Game stores, the last being in Mitchells Plain to actually get a damned fridge. Seriously guys, what happened to customer service. The sales person at the Canal Walk branch really couldn't have cared less and didn't even bother accompanying me to the till to make sure I was helped. I will NEVER be buying from GAME again. It's left a sour taste in my mouth and a deep loathing of Game in general. Stay away from them.
