DISGUSTED WITH THEIR ATTITUDE AND SERVICE!!!

GAME CLEARWATER MALL!!! Very disgusted with their service. My mom purchased a Samsung 48" TV, a 32" TV, and Oven & Hob in March and paid cash for the items. While renovating her lounge area, she stored the 48" TV unopened, safely and secured upright in her bedroom. When she finally opened the box 2 months later, the TV screen was cracked on top. They requested she bring the TV to the store. She took the TV back that was still under guarantee and Game called her to say they are not repairing the TV as it was in her possession for 2 months and they cannot verify how the TV was stored, never mind the fact that it was still fully wrapped in its original wrapping and the box wasn't damaged at all to indicate that it wasn't safely stored. Massdiscounters t/a Game and DionWired is expecting my mom to pay the quoted repair price of R 9 100-00 to fix the TV that she paid R 10 000-00 for. We have requested an investigation report in July, which we still haven't received and yesterday, the store called her to collect the TV otherwise they will dispose of it. She worked hard to earn the money to buy that item that they are now threatening to DISPOSE of. We have been GAME customers for years, but their attitudes regarding this situation is very unjust and PROVES that their customers are not important to them.

We received feedback from Game Clearwater's Store Manager today to "AGAIN" tell us that Massdiscounters t/a Game and DionWired will not repair or replace the TV as it was "according to them" customer negligence. I want a detailed report from their "further investigation" to PROVE that it was damaged in our possession. The TV was never opened at the store when it was purchased and also not for 2 months after the purchase. It was never even plugged into a socket for that matter and still in its original wrapping undamaged, SO HOW CAN WE PAY R 9 100-00 for a cracked screen on a TV that costs R 10 000-00?????? As loyal Game customers, we will not accept this feedback via telephone call and await a detailed investigation report proving our negligence from Massdiscounters and SAMSUNG.
