************** against customers
Dear Hello Peter. I am very disappointed and disgusted with treatment received at Game somerset mall. We make monthly purchases at Game normally month end. This is the third incident at this store and from now on we will refrain from using their services and will make the experience public to the local newspapers. On the 28th of July we came from dischem into Game. We attempted to switch trolleys as the basket trolley wasn't big enough. The security stopped I explained slowly we are entering and shopping he first argued making my pregnant wife upset as they did not want to hear our explanation. When we eventually had clarity about the trolley. When we left the shop the we were told your mother and fathers ******* referring to *******ia in isiXhosa. The incident before we attempted to buy a washing machine upon waiting for help I advised there sister company has the same washing machine and we would like a price match. The sales consultant left us speaking to a colleague saying in isiXhosa we can wait and we should go to DION WIRED we did exactly that. The 1st incident occurred at the till point where we asked a cashier to add cigs to our groceries I even explained to the lady what we want. She came back with the wrong product, the lady not knowing I know isiXhosa said to the cashier why am I complaining it's the same I should just take my things and go saying I am stupid. I don't think it is acceptable to be treated this way of I as a customer shopping at the store every month on month. I am being discriminated and excluded based on language preference and if this is the case then the entire helderberg should know about the way game does business. I don't want a call with an apology because they think an apology is fixing an issue where you are discriminated against and my wife close to the end of her pregnancy was and still is very upset. Compensation is due for a customer that has been treated this bad.
